Have you ran into friends at dinner and said my level 12 dwarf can kick your level 11 elf any day only to find out you don't have a d20 handy. Well never fear..RPGCommando has created Slicer and Dicer for your wireless phone. Your never more than a URL away from dice rolling bliss.
Using Slicer and Dicer for WAP/WML phonesThis version of Slicer and Dicer is designed to work with any wireless device that has a WML (Wireless Markup Language) compatible browser. Examples include any phone that uses the Phone.com browser (such as Motorola). To actually use the application, you will need to enter the URL below into your phone (Note: some service provides will allow you to create a personal portal for your phone). Find Slicer and Dicer at: http://www.webcommando.com/slicerwap.cgiUsing the ProgramUsing Slicer and Dicer for WAP/WML phones is very easy. After pointing your WML compatible phone at the URL above you will see the splash screen as shown below: Select the appropriate key under "Go!" on your phone to continue (Note: many phones do not support graphics and have have a smaller number of lines. You may need to scroll down to read the entire display). After selecting "Go!" the application presents a list of dice available to roll as shown below: The standard sizes are provided, including D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, D100. If you wish to enter your own number of sides, scroll down to the #8 menu item "Other die...". This allows you to enter and arbitrary number of sides to roll. When ready, select "Roll!". A request is sent to the server and a series of rolls performed and returned to your phone as shown below: Selecting "Again!" will re-roll using the last die selected, or you can select "New!" to return to the selection menu.
